OddsOn, Inc. ("OddsOn," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal information.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Use.
We collect information in several ways: directly from you, automatically when you use the Service, and from third-party sources.
When you create an account, use features of the Service, or communicate with us, you may provide us with the following categories of information:
Account and Identity Information: Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, username, password, and profile photo. We collect this information to create and manage your account and to verify your eligibility to use the Service.
Verification Information: In certain circumstances, we may collect additional identity verification information, such as a government-issued identification number or document, to comply with applicable laws, prevent fraud, and verify your age and identity.
Social and Friends Information: Your contacts list (with your permission), friend connections within the Platform, and information about the groups you create or join.
Odds and Activity Information: The odds you create, accept, or settle; the terms and conditions of those odds; your transaction history on the Platform; and any messages, comments, or notes associated with your activity.
Payment Information: If you use third-party payment services through the Platform to settle odds, we may collect limited information about those transactions, such as confirmation of payment or transaction identifiers. We do not directly collect, store, or process your credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other financial account credentials. Those are handled exclusively by our third-party payment partners.
Communications: Any messages you send to us through customer support, feedback forms, or email, including the content of those communications and any attachments.
User-Generated Content: Profile descriptions, display names, images, and any other content you voluntarily post or share through the Service.
When you access or use the Service, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including:
Device Information: Your device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers (such as advertising identifiers), device settings, and mobile network information.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including the features you use, the pages or screens you view, the time and duration of your sessions, the actions you take (such as creating or accepting odds), and your navigation patterns within the app.
Log Data: Your IP address, browser type (if applicable), access times, referring URLs, and error logs.
Location Information: We may collect your approximate (coarse) location based on your IP address. We may also collect your precise geolocation with your explicit consent, which we use to verify that you are in a jurisdiction where use of the Service is permitted. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit certain features of the Service.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your use of the Service, maintain your preferences, and improve performance. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser or device settings, though disabling cookies may affect functionality.
We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including:
Social Media Platforms: If you choose to link your OddsOn account with a social media service (such as Apple, Google, or Facebook sign-in), we may receive your name, email address, profile picture, and friend list from that service, in accordance with your privacy settings on that platform.
Payment Partners: Our third-party payment processors may share limited transaction confirmation data with us, such as whether a payment was completed successfully.
Analytics Providers: We use third-party analytics services that may collect information about your use of the Service on our behalf.
Identity Verification Services: We may use third-party identity and age verification services, which may provide us with confirmation of your identity, age, or other verification results.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Operate the Service: Creating and managing your account; enabling you to create, accept, track, and settle odds with other users; facilitating social features such as friends lists, feeds, and messaging; and processing transactions.
To Verify Your Identity and Eligibility: Confirming your age, identity, and location to ensure compliance with our Terms and applicable laws, and to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use of the Service.
To Communicate with You: Sending you service-related notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages. With your consent, we may also send promotional communications, which you can opt out of at any time.
To Improve and Personalize the Service: Analyzing usage patterns and trends; conducting research and development; testing new features; personalizing your experience; and improving the overall quality, functionality, and security of the Service.
To Ensure Safety and Security: Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud, abuse, and other harmful or unauthorized activity; enforcing our Terms and Conditions; and protecting the rights, property, and safety of OddsOn, our users, and the public.
To Comply with Legal Obligations: Responding to lawful requests from government authorities, complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, and cooperating with law enforcement as required.
To Enforce Our Agreements: Enforcing our Terms and Conditions, this Privacy Policy, and any other agreements between you and OddsOn.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
OddsOn is a social platform. Certain information about your activity is shared with other users as part of the core experience. This includes your display name, profile photo, username, and information about odds you create, accept, or settle. The visibility of your activity is subject to your privacy settings within the Platform. We encourage you to review and adjust these settings to reflect your preferences.
We share information with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, including hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics services, customer support tools, email delivery services, identity verification providers, and payment processors. These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of OddsOn, our users, or the public.
If OddsOn is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service of any change in ownership or use of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your information.
We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly consent to or direct such sharing.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for purposes including research, analytics, and improving the Service. This information is not subject to the restrictions of this Privacy Policy.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We provide the following rights to all users, regardless of location:
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You can access much of your information directly through your account settings.
You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information we hold about you. You can update most account information directly through the app.
You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as where we are required to retain data for legal or compliance reasons). You can also delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within thirty (30) days, except as required by law or as necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Certain information may persist in our backup systems for a limited period before being permanently deleted.
You can opt out of receiving promotional emails and push notifications at any time by adjusting your notification settings within the app or by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails. You cannot opt out of transactional or legal communications related to your account.
You can enable or disable location services through your device settings at any time. Disabling location services may prevent us from verifying your jurisdiction and may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.
You can control the app's access to your contacts, camera, photo library, and other device features through your device's operating system settings. Revoking certain permissions may limit the functionality of the Service.
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. We currently do not respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard protocol for such signals. We will update this policy if and when a standard is established.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information.
You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information.
You have the right to request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
We do not sell your personal information as defined under the CCPA. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism.
To the extent we collect sensitive personal information (such as precise geolocation or government identification numbers), we use it only for purposes permitted under the CCPA, including verifying your identity and eligibility and providing the Service. You have the right to request that we limit the use of your sensitive personal information to these purposes.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you the Service, charge you different prices, provide a different level of quality, or suggest that you will receive any of the foregoing as a result of exercising your rights.
To exercise your California privacy rights, please contact us at privacy@oddson.app or through the in-app privacy settings. We will verify your identity before processing your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, provided the agent can demonstrate valid written authorization.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@oddson.app so that we can take appropriate action.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to retain your personal information, we will either delete or de-identify it. Specific retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected:
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training on data protection practices.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable law.
The Service is operated in the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including payment processors, analytics providers, social media platforms, and advertising networks. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with through the Platform.
Our app may include third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect information on our behalf or for their own purposes. We evaluate the privacy practices of our SDK partners and require them to handle data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, but we cannot guarantee their compliance.
OddsOn is designed as a social experience. Certain features of the Service involve sharing information with other users, including your profile information, the odds you participate in, and your activity feed. Please be aware that information you share with other users through the Service — including odds descriptions, messages, and comments — may be viewed, copied, or shared by those users outside the Platform. OddsOn is not responsible for how other users use information you make available to them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, through the Service, or by other reasonable means at least fifteen (15) days before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when the most recent revision was made.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated practices. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
